Hand Spasticity

Hand spasticity is usually caused by brain injury, either due to stroke or due to brain trauma. This can result in generalized spasticity of just one limb (monoplegia), one side of the body (hemiplegia) or all the limbs (quadriplegia).

The aim of our corrective procedures are to alleviate the spasticity (which can cause hygiene problems of the hand) and also to restore as much function as possible.
