Biography

Dr. Constantinos Kritiotis was born in Athens, Greece in 1979. He graduated from the prestigious National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Medical School in 2005.

Dr. Kritiotis completed the Cypriot Orthopaedic Training Rotation in various hospitals across Cyprus, before moving to Birmingham in 2012 for a fellowship in Advanced Hand Surgery under Dominic Power.

Following the completion of his fellowship, Dr. Kritiotis immediately found a Locum Consultant post in the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro. He worked there until February 2014 where he moved to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital as a Locum Consultant Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon.

He relocated to Cyprus back in December 2014 following the completion of his contract with the Royal Devon and Exeter. Dr. Kritiotis maintains very close links with the NHS, carrying out sessions in the Royal Cornwall Hospital when needed.

Dr. Kritiotis obtained the prestigious European Diploma in Hand Surgery in the FESSH meeting in Paris in 2014, making him currently the only certified Hand Surgeon in Cyprus.

His supespecialist interests include reconstruction of the spastic hand (following cerebral palsy, stroke or brain injury due to trauma) as well as functional reconstruction of the upper limb in suitable tetraplegic patients.
